The new UG 4 represents the latest generation of a residential gas meter. Designed for long time accuracy performance and coming from the know-how of over 60 years producing gas meters, the new UG 4 AL is mainly dedicated for small capacities and LPG applications. A very wide range of solutions is available from a traditional meter to smart meter with a digital counter; available with a built-in on-off valve, mechanical temperature compensation, and remote reading retrofit solutions, UG 4 series can offer different and flexible solutions for every local market needs.

The G-4 Meter is AMR compatible, an optional Pulse Cable can be connected to the meter which reads the pulse and converts it digitally which can be fed to any external Modbus system.
The NI-3 pulse cable is a simple analog to digital converter which takes the pulse generated by the index of the meter.
It supplies a 2 wire output (Dry contact) which can be connected to any Modbus device that uses an ON/OFF pulse reed switch.
